Bo’ness is set to get a “banking hub”. The new facility will offer services to residential customers, as well as businesses. It follows a request by Bo’net secretary Adrian Mahoney.
Bo’ness lost its last bank branch (TSB) in 2021.
Now a consortium representing a number of UK banks is looking for premises within Bo’ness to set up the hub, offering cash withdrawals/deposits and advice.
It is hoped the new hub could be operational in a year’s time.
