Falkirk Council is offering help for local adults to get grips with numbers – from managing money to paying bills.
Nichola Bridge, a community learning and development worker at Falkirk Council, explained the initiative. She said: “I am offering free courses for people over the age of 16 to support them to be more confident using numbers in everyday life. People can also gain an SQA qualification if they so wish.
“This could be put into an existing group already running we can add the numbers in or could be a separate group. We can do it in a variety of different ways like cooking, DIY, gardening, money management etc. I was wondering if you would know of any group that might be interested in this? I have attached a flyer but if you would like to know more about this don’t hesitate to contact me.”
