Community groups in Bo’ness and Blackness are being invited to a FREE media training day.
The event will take place upstairs in Bo’ness Library on Saturday 8 March 2025 from 10.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.
Attendees will get top tips to raise their profile in the local media and online. This will include information on using free artificial intelligence (AI) tools to help plan future promotional activity.
The event has been organised by the charity Bo’ness Car 4U in association with the Bo’ness Networking Group (Bo’net).
To register for a free place, simply fill in the online form at https://forms.office.com/e/4q7WzqBYUP
Please note that places are limited and only open to charities, community groups or social enterprises operating in the Bo’ness and Blackness area.
The half-day event will kick off with an introduction about Bo’ness Car 4U – a small local charity providing a free hospital transport service for cancer patients. The group is currently looking for volunteers. If you can help, find out more at https://bonesscar4u.scot/
Adrian Mahoney, a former journalist, will lead the training session. He now runs an award-winning consultancy in Bo’ness.
He’ll cover:

- Using social media and websites to amplify your messages
At the end of the session, there will be a chance to network with attendees and enjoy a free lunch.
