Residents are being urged to drop into a local cafe and find out about plans for a banking hub in Bo’ness.

The hub is expected to open in the town this May. Cash Access UK is setting up the facility on behalf of a consortium of high street banks.

Banking hubs allow people to make deposits and take out money, as well as meet up with bank staff.

The drop-in event will take place on Thursday 27 March from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Food @ 34A Cafe in Bo’ness.

Gemma Mackie of Cash Access UK said: “The event is aimed at providing residents and local stakeholders with details on the plans.”

She said the event would aim to answer any questions or concerns about the new banking facility.
