Residents are being invited to a free wellbeing event in Bonnybridge Community Hub (the former community centre in Bridge Street).
The event is taking place this Friday 28 March 2025 from 12.30 p.m. to 6 p.m. It’s been organised by CVS Falkirk and District.
Kerrie Hoggan from CVS said: “This is a free community event, suitable for all ages, to help people find out about services, support, and activities in Falkirk.
“There will be stallholders from different organisations and services that support the community throughout the event. There will be catering from ROOTs – so food and drinks will be available all day.
“There will also be activities running alongside the exhibition space, which are free to book, including:
- CPR and Defibrillator Demonstrations with Forth Valley First Responders, 12.30 p.m. – 1.30 p.m.
- Conversations around Grief with Strathcarron Hospice, 1.30 p.m. – 2.45 p.m.
- Introduction to British Sign Language with Forth Valley Sensory Centre, 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
- Mindful Makers Crafts with Central Wellbeing (open to all, no booking necessary), 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
- Qi Gong and Martial Arts with Pause & Breathe, 4.30 p.m. – 5.30 p.m.
“We would appreciate it if you could circulate the poster (below)…. We want as many people as possible to benefit from this opportunity as possible.
“Individuals can sign-up to any of the activities using this online form or by dropping into Bonnybridge Community Hub to complete a paper sign-up sheet.”
