A Banking Hub has opened in South Street in Bo’ness town centre.

It’s located in the old Ivy Tearoom premises and will be open Mondays to Fridays, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

You can make withdrawals, deposits and pay bills.

You can also access specialist help from “community bankers” representing five different banks:

You’ll find full details on services on the Cash Access UK website, the consortium representing the banks.

PLEASE NOTE: The Hub’s counter service is operated by the Post Office, where customers of all major banks and building societies can carry out regular cash transactions. However, the Banking Hub is not a Post Office so you won’t be able to send parcels or buy stamps.

This leaflet also gives more information.

Official opening

Bo’ness Fair Queen Ella Black joined Bo’net Secretary Adrian Mahoney to officially declare the banking hub open at a ceremony on Friday 6 June. Also attending the event were local MP Kirsteen Sullivan and Councillor Stacey Devine, as well as representatives from the Post Office and local banks.
