The annual general meeting of the Bo’ness Networking Group (Bo’net) will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.
The event will run from 7 p.m. in St. Catharine’s Church Hall in Cadzow Crescent, Bo’ness.
Local groups and residents are welcome to attend.
The AGM will look back on Bo’net’s activities over the past year, including its own work promoting local community groups, publishing regular newsletters and maintaining an online directory of organisations in the Bo’ness area.
Bo’net has also highlighted funding opportunities and supported initiatives to boost the local area – such as the creation of the Bo’ness Banking Hub.
It has also continued its work to promote the area’s local heritage, helping the Friends of Kinneil secure a future for Kinneil Museum, and promoting the Roman Antonine Wall.
Attendees at the AGM will receive the charity’s annual report and accounts and elect trustees to lead the organisation over the coming year.
They will also consider changes to the group’s constitution. Full paperwork will be published on the Bo’net website ahead of the AGM.
A spokesperson said: “Our AGM is an opportunity to celebrate what has been achieved over the past year and look ahead to the next chapter for Bo’net. We’d encourage anyone with an interest in making Bo’ness an even better place to come along.
“After the formal business, there will be an opportunity to network and enjoy some refreshments.”
Over the summer, Bo’net has been encouraging existing members to renew their free membership – and for new people to join.
