Falkirk Council is asking local groups in Bo’ness to fill in a short questionnaire about the bandstand in the town’s Glebe Park.

It hopes responses will help it secure funding for improvements.

Planning officer Ruth Simpson said: “The Glebe Bandstand Restoration Project has been progressing positively. We were informed in August this year that our funding application for Repair Grant Funding has passed the initial assessment process and has been accepted for full project assessment by Historic Environment Scotland. The assessment process is now in progress. We have also been informed that another funding organisation will award us some funding.

“However, we still require to secure additional funding to meet the estimated project cost.

“We would like to be able to demonstrate,in our what we hope might be our final funding application to The National Heritage Lottery Fund, that we have carried out consultation with the local community, could your group could please assist us by completing (the attached) short questionnaire on our project and e-mailing it, with your responses, back to me before Friday 26th September, 2025.”
